A Winter Solstice Meditation
Lately I have been oscillating between the feeling that everything is horrible and going to hell in a handbasket, and a gentle optimism that hope springs eternal. Perhaps you can relate. When I find myself on that kind of inner roller coaster, I turn toward ritual, especially those with a long and storied lineage behind them.
This season, that ritual is the Winter Solstice. In my Magick Circle class, we have been working with the Twelve Magical Nights, a tradition rooted in reflection, intention, and writing down wishes for the year ahead.
I became so inspired by the process that I created a guided meditation and visualization for my class. They loved it, and I hope you do too.
May this meditation be a gentle embrace of the season’s deep and abiding presence.
